A man in New York City is dating a girl whom he believes he doesn't love. he can't see a future such as marriage with her. So, to him it's just another fling. That is, until she suddenly changes one day and seems like a completely different person. But the thing is, every other day she goes back to her normal self with no knowledge of what happened. The man feels somewhat disturbed about her but also something different then he ever expected. So, after having found this new interest for her second half, he searches to discover the reasoning behind this special personality.
Back down in California, a man quietly sleeps in a coma. He's been like this for months but nobody knows why he suddenly fell ill. But one thing they don't realize is that every other day the man switches bodies with a girl. It's taken some time to get used to and a lot of shock but he gets through it. Although, one thing he never expected was for feelings to start to arise inside him for the young girls boyfriend.

She fights him with her prowess with her samurai, until she beats him, left collapsed. Simon wakes up, when surprisingly, he is at the mountains full of trees and with wood houses at the center. He was tied up at a tree, when samurai girl with group of ninja showed to him. She asked what is his purpose of coming in. At first, she is not willing to help as it will cause harm in her community, but later was convinced without apparent reason, to help him. She come up with a decision after she made a meditation for several days, calling her to help that man. They both went around the mountains, while along the road he finds her doing a meditation every day. One day, he accidentally touched her hand, but she gets mad, and said never to touch her again.
