As Autumn Fades

I see shadows everywhere. In every corner. When I fall asleep. They're always there, watching. And when they watch, I remember.

Everything.

Always running. That was all Autumn remembered of her childhood. Running until they couldn't run anymore. But now they are trapped, finally caught and forced to live forever in a city made out of stone. So they stopped running. They stopped running, and embraced the darkness instead, building herself an empire. Now, though, they are offered a choice. To choose their enemies and be free, or stay in the stone city forever.
