Lydia Enia. No last name yet. I refused to use my families name.
The pain, grief, hatred, and dread that followed it around was something I did not want to take on. I wanted someone else's name. My lovers' name, under the law of marriage. But only being 16, there was nothing I could do.
Running away wasn't an option, neither was suicide. Because I didn't want to end my life, no, in fact, I wanted my life to truly begin. Here at this shitty high school was not the beginning. I somehow needed a way to make it end, and I knew he was the key.
