Robert, who is Chris and Josh's father, was running an election of who would be in Charge of the Gift Delivery Service for Chris and Josh of who would take over the family business and to be the next Santa because Robert is retiring. Chris, who was the favorite son, got straight A's while Josh didn't get the best grades. Josh didn't get the attention he wanted while he was growing up and started to act out because Robert gave Chris all of the attention. He didn't make the best decisions. After the election, Josh ran away and stole a potion that would make him strong and that would take the hearts out of the children and adults who believe in Santa and Christmas. Josh planned this because Robert didn't believe in him and he wants the same that happened to him happen to his brother.
