'Without a shadow of a doubt I knew that he was gone, and I couldn't save him.'

Beya was innocent to the ways of the world, until now.
After being kidnapped and stranded on an unknown island, full of wayward teenagers and without any of her memories, this is no longer the case. With no way of knowing how she got there, who she can trust and what she must do, Beya no longer has any way of knowing herself.
