Around 500 years ago there lived a king who had five children. Upon their death bed they refused to choose a single heir. In their final hours they created a new system, changing the entire structure of the monarchy. Now there are 4 kings, 4 queens, 4 knights, and 4 heirs based on a deck of cards. The king then had the royal mage create 17 magical Talismans that give the user special abilities, 4 crowns for the 4 kings, 4 necklaces for the 4 queens, 4 medallions for the for knights, 4 bracelets for the 4 heirs and one ring, for the Guardian of the Talismans. This kingdom is made of cards, but will the smallest thing can knock it down, or will the knights rise up to fight back.
