Mireille D'Argent, reborn into a world of swords and magic, never fit in very well. She was overly mature, and a little bit strange with her knowledge from another world. But... In the span of a day, she seemingly lost everything and gained everything at the same time. Money, a mansion, and a useless title... Gained. Parents, a home, and her naivety... Lost. After the death of her parents, she and her brother Alfred are brought to live with their uncle. Mireille finally realizes the truth of her life. She knew her parents were fallen nobles, yet thought nothing of it. Never would she have thought she was practically royalty. However she didn't desire any of the things she gained. Just her peaceful life as a commoner. She forms her resolve to slowly find a way to survive and escape, however, it isn't so easy to escape the eyes of high society.

"One day, a tower appeared in the skies of all the major cities... Humans were suddenly summoned to become "Walkers", and they needed to clear the tower to save the world. . . Floor 77: The "Stone of Regression" was discovered. Walkers could now "return" to the past. Slowly... everyone left. . . Humanity's last hope, "Carpe Diem", was formed, joined by people who refused to abandon the world. . . The last Walker reached floor 100. He no longer knew what to believe." -- I do NOT own The World After the Fall, this is just a novel translation!
