Living alone in the streets, surviving off no more than restaurant dumpster scraps, was a young woman by the name of Charlotte,  or as some call her, Charlie. Traumatic events have led her to become mute, only allowing her some faint squeaks here and there. 
  Frail and severely under weight , she struggles for survival. And with the company of her pet and best friend , Cheese, a small brown mouse, she finds herself knocking on death's door. But who is it that answers?
