This is a story of two very deeply troubled friends. When one becomes a vampire and turns the other, she does so in hopes to never lose their friendship. At first, everything is fantastic. They spend their first few months enjoying the perks that their newfound Vampiric life has to offer but soon things begin to change for Mikia.. She comes across the man that had once used and abused her, taking advantage of her love when she was alive, and things quickly take a turn for the worst. She becomes obsessed with the thought of her fangs spilling his blood, and taking his life in the slowest, most painful way imaginable. Matt, while eternally grateful for the undying gift of the Everlasting, doesn't approve of his best friend's bloodlust for revenge. Will she stop at the one that hurt her? Or turn her intentions to some sick vendetta of killing MORE people. Can he convince her to turn away from her rage and live their extended lives in peace? Or will she lose herself to the Darkness.. and have to be stopped permanently?
