Shakti Sahu has been working for Google since 2016. He has experience working as a software engineer for companies such as Intel Corporation and MobileIron.

San Francisco, CA - Shakti Sahu joined the team at Google in January 2016. He brings with him a background in software engineering and a wide array of experiences in the field.

Sahu grew up in India. He attended the National Institute of Technology Rourkela, and then came to the United States in 2007 for graduate school. He graduated from the University of Florida in 2009 with a master of science in electrical and computer engineering. His training and education allowed him to hit the job market immediately after graduation with strong assets.

He started his career at Huawei in Bangalore while he was still in India. He gained important knowledge working for the company and it sparked his love of the field. He attributes his start in the internet industry to his love of computers.

When Sahu is not at work, he enjoys reading a book or watching Netflix. He is also a cricket fan and tries to watch matches whenever possible. He hopes someday to travel to more than 50 countries around the globe and to open his own charity organization.
