The world of Farnor, home to the poorest of human farmers, wealthiest of dwarf lords, and the most corrupted of the elves, has its future shaken when an ancient foe commences his new assault on the Free Lands. Though the gods have placed the fate of the world into the hands of a veteran ranger, Rolan Erebus.
