After dropping out of college at nineteen, twenty-four year old Stacy Levine has been stuck in a rut. As all of her high school friends have gone on to live fabulously exciting lives, she's been stuck in retail hell. When a mysterious stranger walks into the store one evening, handing her his business card, she doesn't realize just how much her life is about to change. Excited by the prospect of having actual livable wages, Stacy soon comes to find that there's some strange happenings going on at Obsidian Financial. Why does upper management wear so much black? Why won't they eat the catered lunches? Why is everyone so afraid to be called to the top floor? Navigating her first real, adult world job while trying to juggle bills, her friends and one particular coworker who makes her equal parts uncomfortable, and intrigued, is challenging. Little does she know just what kind of missteps and adventures lay ahead.
