It's 1919, Thirteen-year-old, Cole McCarthy just wanted more time with his father.  After a horrific train accident, his step-mother is left as his only family.  Cole wanders from his family's estate and runs into an old family friend who gives him a special object that belonged to his father. 

Cole just wanted to be a kid. He did not want to be entrusted with the most powerful object in the world that is made from tangible Karma, and can be used to transport himself, control other karmanic matter, and so much more. 

Now, Alsin Gideon, the traitor of the legion is on rampage to take Cole's narthex and add to his Legion body count.

For their safety, Cole and his friends are pulled into the enormous hidden legion headquarters and reveal the secret double life of his father. Once there, Cole struggles to find his role within the legion, maintain a strained relationship with his step-mother, and live up to a daunting legacy left by his father. 

Alsin Gideon cleverly taunts Cole, to meet him at a prearranged battle meant for his father. Cole's anger and determination boils over and he is willing to risk his powerful tool and Karma's stability with the promise of getting his parents back. 

Will Cole, along with his smart and witty friends, be able to work together to bring back his parents, keep Karma's balance safe, and stay alive?

She just has to hope she can make it until then and that she doesn't meet her mate. If she does and he rejects her, all he'll will break loose because that will be the start of it all.
