"Eleanor, I need you to stay away from me." He says as he holds tight onto my hand. I look up at him in confusion and hurt. No hint of anger is in his eyes.
"What, why?" I ask, voice breaking.
"I just need you to trust me okay? I don't want you to get hurt," He pleads.
"Get hurt? By who?" I ask, almost afraid of the answer.
"Just listen to me El. I'm dangerous."
Eleanor Montgomery enters her junior year not realizing that her life is about to get a lot more complicated. Still not over the loss of her friendship with Isaac Lahey and confused about his recent change in behavior, she seeks answers. Along the way Eleanor discovers secrets from her mother's past that connect her to the ever mysterious Beacon Hills in ways she never could have imagined. Will Eleanor make it out of this year alive, or will her family's secrets swallow her whole?
