She has returned to Detroit from graduating college and now, she just watched her best friend being shot after her father figure dies in front of her. Plus he's an android. Now, she just transferred to her uncle's station. And her life will forever change when she meets a certain deviant hunter....who is also an android.

Violet encounters Markus, Kara and Connor in her home, and claims that she did not kill the owners. She claims they were her family. Violet is cynical, kind, abrupt and keeps a secret about the night her "parents" and "siblings" were killed. She goes on a journey of finding hope when all hope seems lost, confronting her past, and finally being at peace.
