Her heart beats faster every time she thinks of him, she can feel butterflies in her stomach every time she talks to him, but she doesn't know what to make of it. And neither does Sherlock. Is the high functioning sociopath going through the same confusion on whether love is blooming between the two or whether she's just going to hold him back? You and John Watson were old flames back in your high school year. Thankfully, when you broke up, you still remained friends. That was, until the year of the war came around. While John went to war, you began to tend to your dying sister, who you knew only had a few more years. John and you kept in touch, but the letters started to get more and more infrequent as the war began to get more and more brutal. After your sister died, you moved to London, hoping for a fresh start and to eliminate any memories of your her. The next thing you know, three people get murdered right before your eyes, and guess who shows up to inspect? John Watson. And his friend, Sherlock Holmes. You took a liking to Sherlock, despite his arrogance and sociopathic tendencies, and you slowly begin to see his feelings that he hides underneath his shell. After the fallout from Eurus and Sherringford Sherlock's first mistake was sending Mycroft to deal with Molly and the phone call. From there Molly and Mycroft start an unlikely friendship. Sherlock's second mistake was that he waited months to speak with her regarding the phone call. When Sherlock finally confronts Molly about his feelings he is shocked to see her hesitant and more than a little confused. Did Sherlock wait to long? While taking a much needed holiday, Molly meets a very interesting woman who opens her eyes to the value she has. Molly exams her life and finally finds who she truly is and what she wants.
