Sometimes all that's keeping you from having everything you want is losing everything you have. *** The year is 1946. The place is Bristol, England, UK. Captain Jordana Freemantle served with distinction in World War II as an ambulance driver and battlefield medic, but now she's home again with her husband and two young children, she doesn't know what to do with herself. Meeting vivacious civilian surgeon Romana Gentry reminds Jordie of the other secret she left on the field of battle--Jordie is a lesbian and she doesn't know how much longer she can stand to deny it. The affair that ensues will shatter Jordie's life, but it also just might save it. © 2020-present Idris Grey
