Set in the same universe as H20: Just Add Water (events of Mako Mermaids did not happen), 4 highschoolers are doing a Biology Project on Mako Island. My whole life I dedicated to discovering the secrets of the ocean, but when one day I encounter a merman I think I might be losing my mind. Except it's real and he's asking me out. Spilling all his secrets. Sating my curiosity and stirring my lust. My own private nerdy professor turned merman, he ticks all my boxes. What do I do when my merman is in danger of discovery from my colleagues? Do I turn my back on them and help him? Do I sink or swim? Do I fall in love? This is a short prequel story for my other story Hook, Line & Sinking. This story can be read stand alone and you don't need to read this story to understand Hook, it's simply a bonus. ;-)
