My entry for the #PlanetOrPlastic contest for National Geographic. 

In 500 words or less, we were asked to write and share a story, may it be real or fiction that was inspired by the photos that were presented. I suck at writing short stories (they tend to get away from me and turn out much longer than I originally intended, so this was quite the challenge), but I managed, and I really like how it turned out.

As the years went by, I began documenting the indigenous lifeforms that I had learned to coexist with. This journal holds the studies I've made of my fellow inhabitants of 4546B, a world I've learned to call home.
