I'm Angelica and I'm a sophomore in high school living with my brother, Juan who is known as Jay, and my single mother.
While waiting at a food cart with my friend during lunch and guy said the most simple words to me, "excuse me."
Oh my god, I love him.
Okay stop laughing, I haven't had attention from the opposite sex since my 8th grade boyfriend at the time.
The guy had fair skin and blue eyes framed with dark square glasses. Eyes that barely glanced at me. He had a semi strong and defined jaw. Awh, he looked like he was blushing. He maybe had dirty blonde hair? He was gone in the same moment. But damn was he attractive.
My friend whispers to me "Nerd." Clearly talking about the guy.
Why are 'nerds' so under-appreciated?
First of all he could be a serial killer disguised as a 'nerd.'
"I think he's cute," I whisper back while waiting for her to choose her food.
Sofia smirks at me, "Bet you won't find him and his name, and date him by the end of the school year."
I immediately bet on it, I never lose a bet and never back out on one. There were seven months until the end of the school year and somehow I had to find him and date him.
This seemed like plenty of time, one thing that is not in my favor was my shyness and inability to talk to guys.
But how hard is it to find a guy in a school with almost 2,000 students?
