I'm a patron of Hyrule Castle, one of Princess Zelda's closest advisors, her personal sword-maiden actually. The Great Calamity hit, killing most of the castle staff, all except me. I managed to escape through the ruckus, and I fell into a deep slumber once I'd reached the safety of Kakariko Village. That slumber lasted a hundred calamity filled years. I woke, in the depths of a Sheikah shrine, set free by a blonde male, who apparently had his fair share of a hundred years' sleep too. He seemed okay, until he opened his mouth. What arrogance!

Botw Reimagined
This is part 2 of my fanfic series, so If you haven't read the prequel of this story "Botw Reimagined: The Past", I highly recommend reading it before starting on this if you don't want to get confused. Moving from the past of breath of the wild, we finally get to the game portion of the story. Any feedback is appreciated, as well. (Story) 100 years after the tragedy that was the Great Calamity, Hyrule has finally seemed to have regained its footing. However, the seal on Calamity Ganon seems to be weakening, threatening to break any day now. Fortunately for Hyrule, a hero who has been thought long dead finally returns from a long slumber. That hero is Link. ***I've been wanting to write this for AWHILEEEEE! I'm a little late to this party but due to TOTK season upon us, I thought of this fun little fanfic that is BOTW x MM. I might be back on my smut writing a bit too ;)*** The calamity has perished, and with it the dawn of a new age now rises for Hyrule. The Hebra Region, home to the Rito and diamondized crystals of the most frigid snow. The Gerudo Region, home to the Gerudo and its idyllic sifted sands that carry the feet of its many merchants. The Lanayru Region, home to the Zora and its romantic domain of crystalline waterfalls and pellucid riverbends. The Eldin Region, home to the Goron and its clusters of thermal hot springs amongst the temperamental volcanoes. Our story takes place not in the humid desert of the Gerudo nor the slushy foothills of the Rito, but in Akkala; the region of eternal autumn. Y/N works beneath Robbie at the Akkala tech lab mending the guardian forces besotted by Princess, soon to be Queen Zelda. A guardian technician by day and a devoted historian by night, Y/N is infatuated with the legend of the Hero of Time. This hero spoke of his adventures in a parallel universe called 'Termina,' where his heroic deeds were forgotten. Regarded a madman by his peers; it isn't until the blood moon rises once more, that the newfound age of peace of Hyrule is tossed into peril. With a fiery moon threatening to swallow Hyrule whole, it is up to Y/N to solve the mystery of the fallacy known as 'Termina.' Was the Hero of Time telling the truth? And does the current hero of the calamity and Queen Zelda's appointed knight have any insight? As the archaic fights against the modern, both in society and heart, you learn the hero you need has always been in front of your own eyes. Not within the pages of your history book. Hyrule is threatened once again by Zant and Ganondorf, newly crowned, Queen Zelda is on the verge of surrender, and Link, the hero from Ordon Village is called for aid. Upon arriving at Castle Town, Link is immediately overwhelmed by the forces of monsters that have forced the townsfolk into hiding. He realizes that he will not defeat Hyrule's foes without help so he sets off for Kakariko Village to find allies. Y/n, a girl who lives in Kakariko Village was not well accepted in the village. You are an outsider, no one knows where you came from. Protecting those around you became something you dedicated yourself to. You trained yourself to fight in the graveyard for days until your body gave out and you'd start again. One day, Link finds you battling a lone goblin that has infiltrated the village by yourself. Impressed by your natural skill, he brings you along to gather more allies from all other villages. The more time the two of you spend with each other, you both slowly fall in love, then your deepest secret is revealed. *All character and village names go to Nintendo*

He stopped in his tracks. Something was approaching. He pressed himself against the Kakariko cliffs nearest the graveside, not moving until long after the steps were gone. A holy light shone from within the graveyard, and a young woman laid sobbing in its stones. When his eyes met her, he could have sworn she'd taken his life for her littlest. ~~ He stood on the edge, glancing towards the castle his father had once been honored at. He looked just like him. He didn't think he'd ever be able to return to his birthplace. But that was fine. Mom probably can't either. ~~ It's been many years now. Everyone who was there is no longer here. It's impossible to move on, but there isn't even a fragment of the past left. She's been told never to head there, but she saddles her horse. ~~ The Calamity took thousands of lives, but it left behind thousands of others. A sister, a wife, a best friend, a son. They move away from each other, and some move from the places they were, all for closure and to remember without the pain. Over one hundred years does history fade to legend, but the faithful continue to tell the legends, not just of one hundred years ago, but of all the stories from it.Complete
Zelda: Love of the Wild
Link, still soaked and covered in grime, took off his boots before venturing into the castle, hoping to avoid soiling the pristine floors. Barefoot and disheveled, and his hair sticking out in every direction, he unexpectedly ran into Paya, who rushed up to him with concern evident in her voice. "Oh, Link! What happened to you?" Paya exclaimed, her worry apparent. Link shrugged nonchalantly, attempting to downplay the situation. "Nothing to worry about. There was a monster near Hyrule field, but I took care of it." "A monster?" Zelda's unmistakable, angelic voice reached his ears, and Link cringed inwardly. He had hoped to avoid her, both due to his unkempt appearance and the knowledge he had recently discovered about her possible engagement. Zelda stepped out from behind him, her face etched with concern. Link explains what happened. Curiosity getting the better of her, Zelda inquired, "I see. So, you've never encountered this beast before?" "No," Link responded simply. "This must be related to the Yiga, then," Zelda surmised, her mind racing with thoughts and possibilities. "Are you hurt?" Zelda expresses general concern, looking Link up and down, making him feel uncomfortable. Unsettled by her scrutiny, Link responded with a monotone voice and a blank expression, "I'm fine. I just need to clean up." Zelda couldn't help but notice his tense body language and the lack of warmth in his eyes. She wanted to ask if he was truly alright, but decided he might simply be fatigued. Reluctantly, she let him go, understanding his need to clean. "Of course. I'll leave you to it."

Spoiler alert for this entire book! If you have not completed the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, this story will reveal the entire storyline of this game. Also some parts of the other Zelda games as well. **** Two people, both crippled by grief and both struggling with great expectations. Two people, but seventeen and still older than Hyrule itself. Two people, who will grow to rely on each other, torn apart by the final ruination. The blood moon rises... The shadow of the Calamity rises over the kingdom of Hyrule, rearing its terrible head, tearing apart all that stands in its way. The deadline was hanging over the head of the citizens who depend on the success of a powerless girl and the mettle of a simply talented boy. The full Triforce shall collide once more, and when it does, are they courageous enough to overcome the own demons that haunt them and stand firm against the evil ahead? Hey everyone! There will be quite a lot of angst so if you're not okay with that, then please don't read my book. There will be rather graphic descriptions of war and battles, and self-harm and depression will trigger some of you, but there are no sexual scenes, nor swearing.
