"I'm sorry that I put you in this situation."

"I'm not following." I really wasn't.

"This. Us! What we did last night was reckless and so so perfect at the same time." He got up and walked over to me. "All I could think about was the look on your face. I couldn't sleep because I was thinking about the feel of your skin against mine." He came closer and now he was a breath away.

"What are you saying?" I whispered.

"I don't know."

"I thought you didn't do girlfriends."

"I don't." And just like that our lips met and the fire ignited within me again.

You must think this is your typical love story with it's sickly sweet characters who slowly fall in love. In some aspects it is actually and in others it's the total opposite.

This is the story of how Kate Reynolds fought to keep her broken family together as well as trying to manage her fast, wild and explosive love life.

A modern, coming of age story of how an ordinary girl experiences all that she shouldn't and out of trying to fix everyone else, she tries to fix herself.

It took every ounce of my willpower not to reciprocate his kiss. Our lips moved in flawless synchrony. I trembled as I felt his tongue tracing my lower lip. My legs turned feeble, and I clutched his shirt for support. Suddenly, his hands released mine and firmly seized my waist, simultaneously drawing me closer. I could perceive the fervent heat emanating from his body. His heart throbbed rapidly beneath my hands. I withdrew my hand and exerted a forceful push to separate us. "Soaf... please," he implored, his azure eyes locked onto mine. "I... I have to go," I responded, taken aback by the unexpected situation. ************ Sophie Esinberg embodied the typical nerd, often seen with glasses perched on her nose and her arms clutching books tightly as she made her way through the school hallway. I shuffled closer to Cam and whispered in his ear "This sucks. Remind me why we're here again." He chuckled and put his arm around my shoulders, "Because," he smirked, "Alisha's here. And she's super hot. Might try and fuck her tonight." Fuck her? FUCK HER? EW. OH MY GOD. God I love this man to death, the moon and back and whatever cheesy shit people say in movies - but, oh my days! That is so disgusting. He never used to be like this. And those girls just follow him like rats while he's the piper. "Perv." I muttered under my breath and shoved his arm off me. "You nasty, asshole." I said, rolling my eyes and putting my head in my hands. "Cameron, my man" I heard, when I lifted my head up. Guess it's Cam's turn now... I don't even know why we're even here. He always picks dare and they'll probably make him make out with someone, or take six shots or something. "Dare." he said, looking ready for this, like it wasn't completely obvious what they were going to do. I rolled my eyes. The boy looked around the room where everyone was sitting, until his eyes landed on me. "I dare you, to make out with Azalea." ... ||Azalea Davies|| 17. I feel the breath of air on the back of my neck. My limbs freeze and my breath catches in my throat. The male hands grab me by the hips. I can't move. His lips are by my ear, grazing the skin, his teeth tugging on my earlobe. His breath is hot on my skin, his lips moving down to my neck. My head tilts slightly. I shake my head. He doesn't have a weapon, I do. I turn in his grip, raising my bat. He catches the swing with one hand. He doesn't even flinch. "I wouldn't do that baby." His voice is like velvet, filling up the room. His lips are back on my neck, his tongue trails over the skin. The voice, the lips, are familiar. "You might mess up my pretty face." "Pretty face, my ass." I let the bat drop to the floor in-between the two of us. I should've known. "What are you doing here?" "Besides scaring you shitless?" "You didn't-" "Don't lie, I saw what you did to those poor hangers." *** It's a game of cat and dog. A game that's lasted four years. A game that expires in three short months. It's a battle of wits, of sarcasm, of teasing one liners, of sloppy kisses that may lead to more but nothing passed physical. It's a game with no rules. And they seem to be breaking them all. Thea Shaw and Ethan Michaels have a complicated relationship. One that neither wants to come to an end. But with college nearing and feelings developing what will come of their little game? He promises her one last summer of underage fun; parties, sunsets, long talks, sweet kisses, and no talk of college until it's time to leave. There are only two ways this summer can end. Either in each other's arms or the breaking of their hearts. #4 in New Adult [COMPLETED]
