The 'It' Boy: The Original 2015 Draft
*BEFORE READING* Note that this is the ORIGINAL draft of my completed novella 'A Side Effect of Celebrity' (formerly named 'The It Boy'. I've kept the original title for this original draft). This draft of the novella was written in 2015 and is in a VERY different style than how I currently write. I've completely rewritten this novella and published it in 2021. That new version is currently complete and available on my profile. Due to requests from readers to see the old draft, I've reposted this old version. Please do not bother to point out spelling/grammar issues or plot holes in this version as I will not EVER be editing this draft. For those who are opening this novella for the first time and have not read the revised 2021 draft, I STRONGLY encourage you to read that version instead of this one. Many of my novels have characters that overlap and appear in multiple books and that is the case for The It Boy. ⚠️PLEASE READ⚠️ PSA: I was in 8th grade when I wrote this and I believe it is very poorly done. Go ahead and read. I don't have the patience to rewrite. I have heard from several comments that it is funny so that is something to look forward to. MAJOR TRIGGER WARNINGS: I know there are several mentions etc of self harm. I believe there is also mention of sexual assault and the R word. There may also be mentions of EDs but I don't recall as I haven't read this story in years. -Discontinued- Ellie has been homeschooled all her life, but with the recent loss of her dads job she has to go to public school. But what happens when her parents start fighting more and more, when she sees her crush with another girl, will she be able to fit in and do well in school?
