"Suvarna the Bharat is here." screamed my best friend. 
I really did not care that the Bharat had arrived as I was reflecting on my life. At the tender age of 18, I am being married off. I always thought of a beautiful life when I finish school as I applied for my tertiary education at UCT(University of Cape Town) which was my dream and now I am being married off. Why did they like me why not my sister. I was always been neglected ever since my younger brother was born. I always tried to make my parents happy but nothing made them proud not even me being the topper in the whole of South Africa. I come out of my dream world when my mum calls out to me "Suvarna it is time for the nuptial rounds." I woke up from my deep thoughts and went down.
