Jessica was a normal 18 year old girl who had just graduated from high school and went to university. However, she didn't like going out, didn't think of boys and dedicated her time to studying, the typical "nerd", as everyone called her.
One night, Sorority roommates, Vanessa and Sara, eventually convinced her to go to a bar. That's where her life began to change. She saw Lucas for the first time and could never get him out of his head again. He also didn't forget her face when he met her.
Out of nowhere, a feeling developed and grew every day becaming impossible to ignore. Hence, a romance appeared that would be marked by love, happiness and the anguish of the possible loss.

When the Drama Club chooses "Tis better to have loved and lost, than to have never loved at all," as the theme for their student-written one-acts, Josie Parker knows she needs to get a boyfriend and *fall madly in love* or her submission will never be chosen by the theater club. Step in Clinton Carter; sixteen-year-old boy-next-door with a crush the size of Jupiter. Josie takes her chance, but when love doesn't come as easily as she expects, she'll have to broaden her understanding of love, and face new truths about herself. With an emphasis on the love between friends and the stumbles we make on the way to our truth, this YA novel speaks honestly about an Aro/Ace coming out experience. *Updates on Tuesdays and Saturdays
