Mía's life has gone to hell. Her mom only has a part time job, they haven't paid any of their bills-most importantly their mortgage-in months, Mía has had to sacrifice her college life to help out with all these complications.... But everything just went completely south once the family discovered that the reason little Sofia hasn't been feeling too well was because of Cancer. Osteosarcoma to be exact and that's when they become devastated. With precisely nada in the bank and crappy medical insurance, they don't think they could survive through this battle. Eventually Mía has to resort to doing jobs that are none too ethical to get them by and keep the treatments going. Although, it was working it wouldn't last for long and she knew it. However, she probably would have kept on doing them too, if it wasn't for Kostas Sarantos showing up. The infamous Greek entrepreneur. Sadly but fortunately, the CEO of a multibillion dollar corporation is the only chance she has at saving Sofia now. Of course knowing Mía, she would take a Plan B any day before agreeing to work for him, but with such little time on the clock and the amount of money Kostas is willing to pay, what's a girl to do than suck up her pride and take it?

She trusts everyone. She always sees the good in people. Not because she's naïve, but because she chooses to trust. Every time, she chooses to believe that people are more than their worst side. She's sensitive, emotional, radiant. And she's used to earning everything on her own. He's been burned by love. He's spent his life chasing the wrong person, skimming the surface so he wouldn't have to feel too much-because the only one who ever truly loved him left far too soon. He comes from an important family, from a world where the path is already set and choices are never truly free. She speaks with her heart in her hands, lets herself go, trusts him without knowing who he really is. And that throws him into crisis. He desires her, but he can't afford her. In his polished world, built on appearances and opportunism, Aurora is an anomaly. Almost like a magic lamp. She doesn't seek perfection. She doesn't demand excellence. She asks only for honesty. A sincerity he isn't capable of giving. Aurora has never felt interest in anyone-she's never been with any boy. Yet being close to him ignites desires and sensations she can't name. Tom is ironic, brilliant, magnetic. An arrogant show-off with freckles and a breathtaking smile. But behind those smiles there's something that doesn't add up. A shadow she senses without being able to define it. And yet she can't stop choosing him. Even when everyone around her keeps warning her.
