On the "outside" she meets a group of people just like her, with unrecognized Spirit Animals. Meanwhile, on the "inside" Kyle's (Kelly's friend) Spirit Animal does not show, this is taken as a horrible omen so the town members decide to sacrifice him on the night of May the 5th.
