So, since this is my first "published" story, I realize it's a little rough around the edges. The first time you read it you might come to the conclusion that there's no plot, a very anticlimactic ending, and virtually no climax to begin with. However, this is all because it's a short story and it has a deeper meaning behind it that you have to actually dig for. Also, if I get enough positive comments on this story, I will write the sequel to it.
Basic Description: Lindsey Holt is just your everyday teenage girl...except for the fact that she lives in a completely controlling society. Everything is decided for her, from her schedule to what job she'll have when she grows up. And that's just the way Lindsey likes it...because she's never been taught any differently. However, as Lindsey enters her senior year in high school and begins to learn about the real world, she begins to see the true dangers behind this kind of control. Now, Lindsey must grapple with a terrible and potentially dangerous thought...is the government's control something to be afraid of?

You would usually see her wearing sweats around the house or outside in her backyard on the beach since she lives on the ocean. So when she suddenly gets kidnapped one day, she wonders what she had ever done to deserve this. She hadn't done anything wrong, at least she didn't think she did. But she learns that there is something about her that is special and that she is not only human. Meet Jared Gray, the person that kidnapped Isabelle because of her being his mate. He's been waiting since he was 16 to find his mate and now he's 22, about to give up on ever finding his mate. But when he smells her in a mall one day, he follows her home and decides to take what's his. Isabelle's life will never be the same again.
