Sometimes I dream colors. Sometimes I dream about the future. Tonight I'm dreaming about the past. "Mom! Dad, Mia!" I scream as my life flashes before my eyes. My vision gets really blurry to the point that everything around me becomes darkness. In the middle of all the darkness, I hear a faint sound. Beep! It seems as I'm slipping away. Away to another world. Away from the faint noise. I lay there in the darkness because I can't make out anything. Then I hear it again, but louder this time. Beep! Beep! Beep! I suddenly have enough energy to jump out of bed, knowing that I was really, really, close to slipping away again. • • • ALL CHARACTERS AND NAMES ARE MADE UP. My Allay

Alone, Abandoned, Depressed. Mia is living a hard life. Everyone who comes into her life, leaves. Nice people end up leaving her and the people who treat Mia "nicely" stay in her life and make her life a living hell. Mia goes home after school everyday and steps into the imaginary world she created. But will Mia become independent and not use her imagination every time she gets upset, or will she stay in her corner and isolate herself from reality?
