A transgender woman on the biology, sociology, and history of the gender spectrum. Gender variance is nothing new. Our stories have been told as far back as the 23rd Century BCE. CHECKMATE, TRANSPHOBES! Our chromosomes come in all different variations, and even transgress into other chromosomal systems of different species, eventually transcending all the way back to asexual roots. CHECKMATE, NECKBEARDS! This is the book I wish I'd had when I first began transitioning. I had to look all over the place to find the answers - even just the questions - I was looking for. So I wrote this as a sort of bite-sized one-stop-shop on some of the different concepts that make us who we are. I hope the information found here can help others as much as it helped me.
