A race of tiny, magical beings lives throughout Earth today. They are kirins. Dwelling in elaborate tree homes and underground sanctuaries, they enjoy a strong kinship with the animals and birds of their region. In the distant past humans knew them well. But an ancient rift occurred between the races, and kirins chose to separate themselves from humans. To help in this, kirin magicians cast a race-wide spell, the spell of no'an, making all kirins invisible to humans. Sadly, we are now unaware of their hidden civilization.
For thousands of years kirins everywhere lived in peace. But an army of gronoms, merciless, faceless monsters, shatters their sylvan existence. ELAMARE, a depraved magician at Stonehenge, has sent gronoms forth. Created there, within the citadel of kirin magic, their sole function is to find and assault kirins who know of Elamare's evil conduct and how to combat it.
Book One opens in the domain of tree-dwelling kirins in the central part of North America. Three kirin youngsters find OLAMIN, an aged kirin magician, moribund in the forest. The youngsters are GILIN, a determined lad, TALLI, a spirited girl, and REYDEL, a shy young lass.

Ernwood Forest is home to winged people no bigger than a person's hand. Hidden away from the eyes of all humans, they live within the woodlands in three secrete tribes. Things can be tough in a world so much bigger than you, but the tribes are strong and protect the tiny people against all dangers. Even humans. Three tribes. Only three. That is the truth everyone knows. Until Rosin discovers that what she grew up believing doesn't even scratch the surface of what's out there in the forest. --- Rosin Magnolia hates people. The safe refuge everyone around her calls 'home' feels like a prison to her- so when she learns that there are other tribes somewhere in the forest, the decision to leave is hardly a choice. She makes it her mission to search the woodlands and bring the lost tribes together. But to do that, she'll have to leave her own tribe behind... which means leaving the people she loves most in the world. The forest is rife with predators. Beasts like humans; towering beasts that prowl through the trees without care or concern for the life they might trample. Leaving might just turn out to be a suicide mission. But Rosin soon begins to wonder who is in more danger- the tribes she is looking for, or the one she left behind... --- ⚠️ Mild fear/ violence warning (things get just a lil intense at parts) 💃 Ongoing story, I'll update whenever life lets me 💀 ❤️ To anyone who has read the other two stories set in this little world, this story includes a lot of information that was left out in the main storyline, mostly about Rosin (obviously lol) Wren and Aspen Hope you enjoy 💕💕 Please comment/vote/ let me know your thoughts!!!

There is no depictions or allusions of sex, no f-bombs, or drug abuse. This story was started when I was in seventh grade. I finished the original when I was a senior in high school. Displeased with the finished product, I began to rewrite it here, starting June 2015, then again in 2020. I am quite satisfied with the result, and am sure this will be the final edition. This isn't the first book of the series, but there's no spoilers for 'The World is Larger than it Seems', so you can start on this one. The story is far from finished, however, and I hope to eventually finish the series.

His Beauty & Her Beast

23 parts Complete

Legend says a beast like no other was sent from the depths of the underworld to conquer and destroy all life on earth... stories of the evil and monstrous creatures roamed throughout the lands. Tales were told to children about a dark forest that must never be ventured for the creatures within will devour whatever is in its sights ruthlessly. He was a beast but he was not cursed as one he was created as one. He could transform into a vicious monster; he had large wings that allowed him to sore through the sky along with incredible strength and speed that strikes fear and death into anyone before him. He stood nearly 7 feet tall with large rippling muscles making him appear larger and even more frightening in his beast form. He could transform from a beast to a human. He was feared. He had power. .... She was soft and gentle. She walked with grace and elegance. Her kindness would melt the heart of any evil and her beauty was like no other. She was the most gorgeous woman he had ever seen. And the beast wanted her. "P-please... don't hurt them" I shakingly stood in front of the petrified young children. "You do not worry about yourself?" He spoke, and his deep and dark voice sent shivers down my body. "Please they are just children they don't mean no harm" his eyes held adoration and something else. "What's your name...." "Elaine"
