Lucy Heartfilia had it all. The perfect life, the perfect family, and the perfect friends. That didn't last very long though, when one day her kingdom was overthrown, and she was thrown into a dungeon. She's endured many hardships and every day of torture and abuse before she thought enough was enough. Along with her older sister, she escaped. Not to just anywhere, but a whole other world. The only problem is that when she wakes up, her sister isn't with her.
   Eventually she stumbles upon the Fairy Tail guild and joins, though she chooses to leave out the story of her origin. She gets along just fine with everyone there except for certain pink-haired wizard named Natsu Dragneel. They hate each other and can't seem to get along, which isn't helping Lucy's increasing nightmares. 
   Can the two learn to get along? Will Lucy find Michelle? Can she take back her kingdom with the help of her friends? Or will it all be in vain?
