By Proxy // An Avengers Fanfic by IndriyaLy. Lara Maria Stark has a long, jumbled history with the likes of the Avengers. Her father, Tony Stark, led a double-life as Ironman. Her closest friends lived and breathed SHIELD. She, herself, had attached a fearsome reputation to her name through SHIELD. And so, the decision to annihilate it was a surprising one, to say the least. Having severe daddy-issues and a not-so-perfect past led Lara to make a life that was as ordinary as possible. Until Steve Rogers decided to, quite literally, go against the entire world to help James Buchanan Barnes. Recruited by a father she had not seen in a decade, Lara is forced to choose. Will she side with the only person who has ever given her any thought? Or will Lara ally herself with her father to compensate for her disappointing childhood?

Bucky Barnes x reader (This story only has the characters from the MCU and follows some of the same plot. Other than that it's all made up for this story.) Not going to lie. Being the daughter of a famous avenger isn't all that fun. Especially when you're not allowed to actually meet or be apart of anything cool. Tony Stark, my dad, is my favorite person in the world. He does everything to protect me, even if it's too much. Him being so overprotective has kept me from meeting my soulmate. He has his, my mother, Pepper. They both see all the amazing colors in the world, but me, everything, even the skies, are gray. Then, I met him.
