Homophobic school bullies relentlessly bully 16-year-old Jay, so when Enya, a goth and rumoured Satanist, hands Jay an occult tome called The Book of Evil Spirits, Jay sees a way to punish his tormentors--summoning a demon. Losing his top-spot on Hell's Infernal League of Evil, the rankings that decide who is the evilest and will rule Hell, Scalar escapes into exile. 

After an incident involving a punch to the head, a fish n' chip shop siege, and the entire school (it felt like anyway) chanting "gay boy", "gay boy", "gay boy", Jay swallows his fear and conjures a demon. Scalar answers the call and agrees to help Jay exact revenge, but at a price--Jay's immortal soul. 

Each act of vengeance helps Scalar to claw his way back up The Infernal League of Evil as the festering darkness in Jay grows.All Rights Reserved
