Night is the son of the enigmatic and calculating Coal. Living with the group of cats called the Rogues of Moonhigh, Night has seen the harshness of battle and chaos as he was raised and trained by his father.

But when Coal suddenly announces that he will be taking his son to a lake where the five clans live, Night realizes that he knows nothing of his true identity as well as the mysterious past his father once shared with the infamous clans.

As he steps into the unknown, endless trials and impossible challenges await for the young apprentice as he discovers more of his heritage and secrets that may cost him more than he could ever imagine. And despite of the views of the clan cats who only see him as a creature who is capable of bringing chaos upon the clans, Night might not just be the key to their survival, but to the Warrior Code as well.
