Every villain needs money, right? But in that kind of buissnes, it's hard to get it the legal way, so why not kidnap a rich child for ransom- or even better, four rich children?

That's exactly what the Joker was planning to do, maybe he would even get to kill the Bat and his little bird if they'd come to the boys' rescue. 
But what happens when the Young Justice is assigned to protect Dick Grayson, Jason Todd, Tim Drake and Damian Wayne, four of the richest children of Gotham? And the team is not at full strength, for Robin has left to some mission with Batman in Germany, but they can stop the Joker anyway, right? Right?!

However, his death wasn't the end, because that would be too easy. Dick Grayson--brought back by the Lazarus Pit--whose now dead to the world is useful to the mercenary as his student, successor, and pawn. After years of being a toy to the contract killer Dick escaped and ran from himself and everything he's ever known. He now goes by Grayson Lloyd, but mostly referred to as Gray. He took his mothers maiden name, and returned to Gotham, but not as a hero, as something the city would come to dispute about. Vigilante. Killer. Hero. Murderer. Mercenary. He's everything in between: the gray area if you will. To the crude city he's known as 'The Gotham Reaper'. The Batfamily of course have something to say about this new vigilante.
