After almost 15 years of being under the NBG's control, Hunter runs away with help from S.H.I.E.L.D and more importantly one of his predecessors, Natasha Romanoff, one of the first Black Widows.
Living in New York with his life, Hunter learns everyday life skills while having some rocky patches in his studies at high school. Every now and again he joins in with Nats missions, fixing her equipment and getting hand-to-hand combat.
