For the most part Rose and Marshall let their past stories and experiences speak for themselves. The many moments they share together are kept out of the public eye for a reason and this made their fans upset. In the past the two have had their fare share of arguments ever since Deshaun Holton, their childhood friend, introduced the two of them to each other. Years had passed since the violent passing of their friend Proof. Though the death of their friend happened so many years ago they still suffer from it day to day.

It is now 2010, and Marshall picked himself up off the ground and made a permanent commitment in his life to stay sober, but Rose on the other hand put her nerves at ease by smoking cigarettes for the past five years. Rose's depressed mood soon turns into a daily reminder of what the group lost on April 11, 2005.

This question still swirls around Marshall's head: Can he learn how to fix Rose and make her happy like he did himself?
