In the country side of England in 2045, where the forests grow an endless evergreen, and where the wind dances and sings to its content. This miracle is unnoticed in the home of Professor Alister Winston, a elderly man who lives alone on the top of a mountain, where down below is the beauty of joy. There seems to be no life in that old mansion that lives in the grey skies of sickness and boredom. That is until 11 year old Emma Estrella Beatrix, a girl whose mother's will said to live in that old shoebox with a stranger she never met before. Yet, that didn't stop her caretaker from bringing her to live there. Im that grey mansion, it seems to hold a lot of secrets that she or anyone for a matter, except from the owner of the house, seem to know. Where he might be in contact with the other side of the universe, and see the dreaded future ahead. With the wind being able to speak and the animals to sing, to a crazy witch who lives under the pond, who can turn everything from anything alive. To secret rooms with secrets untold. To where a threat to destroy all of humanity, is all a joke? Edit: I'm not planning on updating this book. It's trash and makes me cringe.
