In the small town of Fenbrooke, a teenage girl named Rose and her best friend Cody venture into the woods in search of lost papers. When Rose is attacked by a strange deer, she soon discovers that she can shapeshift into a whitettail doe--sometimes involuntarily. Read on as Rose endures the struggles of school, home life, and unexpected shifts into her deer form... but most of all, she must overcome the Hunter--a wolf shifter who is not just a threat to Rose, but the entire town.
