Serendipity: The making of fortunate discoveries by accident.

Tessa Hunt never had a normal life – still haunted by what happened eight years ago and
her uncanny ability to stick her nose where it doesn’t belong has always gotten
her into trouble, but also aided her in becoming a detective for the CIA.

Now, Tessa has been assigned to the case of a missing teenage girl Christina Davies,
whose disappearance is eerily like one that occurred in the same town all those
years ago. Around the same time, a discovery has been made of around a hundred
dead bodies buried in the middle of a forest, naked and looking like they had
been mauled to death by bears.

As Tessa investigates, she delves deeper and deeper into a world that she doesn't belong
in. What she doesn't realise is that she’s about to discover something that
will change her life and her perspective on the world.
