My stomach dropped to my shoes as we reached the door. It was closed, and at further inspection, locked. It probably locked upon closing, but I had no key or means of opening it. Before that person could say anything I took off towards the woods. Not to be reminded that the woods here were a dangerous place to be at night. And night was falling unusually fast.
