It was the worst epidemic earth had ever witnessed. worse then the plague or the witch trails. The tension and the hysteria was everywhere. The virus didn't care how old you were. It spread it's way world wide, people murdering eachother, pointing fingers screaming witch! The witch trials started up again yet this time the victims really were witches- some were even shifters.
It's been years since the hysteria died down. No one knows how many years exactly. Everything was somewhat normal in my small town again, that was until kids started going missing. Until I went missing...

But if the student she is visiting isn't sleeping and she notices, he won't be able to move at all for some reason. It's like magic! And if he were to see her face, that student wouldn't see the one of a young, beautiful girl, but the one of a monster. There is something else to the story, though. If a student took something out of his trash can after already throwing it away, the girl would get angry and turn them into a monster. The student would never be seen again. My lungs and muscles burned. Everything in my body begging me to stop but I had to keep moving. I had to get away. I rather die than go back to that lab but this building was a maze! Six high school students looks like anyone else acts like anyone else but are capable of things no one else is. They learnt from a young age no one that means NO ONE can know about their powers even their parents and other siblings. It brings out the true friends and those who just want to use you. In the end, what do you do when your closest friend betrays you? This is the story as they try to keep their biggest darkest secret of what they are capable of and as they discover they're not the only ones like them... I am not very good at trigger warnings before individual chapters but there is mention of blood, cold abuse and parents divorcing. (But read at your own risk in case I mention something else. I am not your typical 16 year-old girl going around obsessing over boy bands and clothes, I can't obsess over those things on a daily when everyday I'm in fear that the government will take me in.
