Since Evan's mother died a few years ago his Dad has been abusing him in every way possible. His Dad refuses to let him make friends, or any other relationship which has caused Evan to get tormented severely at school, Evan has always wanted to try to make friends, but his Dad continuously tries to convince him that everyone is trying to hurt him to avoid anyone finding out about the abuse. He tells Evan that he's special to him. Will his Dad ever stop treating him like this?

He abuses her non-stop, and there's nothing she can do about it, even if she tried. That's when Spencer comes along.
