Summary:
After his parents got divorced Lance had to move to a big city with his Mother and four siblings. While starting his new school life he comes across two new friends and a loner who doesn't seem to like the Cuban boy. Lance just wishes that only good things will happen to him this time around. Maybe his wish will come true. Then maybe he can stop hiding behind his own mask.

"I'm sorry!" Lance all but shouted the words, causing the smaller girl to flinch but he was already moving. Stumbling. His vision blurred with tears as he was turning away from her, escaping, his tone begging, "I'm sorry, Pidge, I'm so sorry. Please forget that this ever happened, please!" And then, he was running from the room, struggling to muffle the sobs that were wracking his chest but failed. He left her in silence. Only, the silence wasn't so silent. "Okay," Lance murmured, shifting to get more comfortable against Keith. Lance stared out at the horizon. "Everything's so beautiful out here." "It is," Keith agreed, his voice quieter now. (What if Lance had frozen and couldn't ask Allura out on a date in Season 8, Episode 1? Instead, Lance realizes his feelings for Keith and asks him out on a date.
