But there's something that binds all of these polar opposites together. A dangerous secret that could kill any one of them, or make them kill anybody else, if not trained properly. A twisted man's plot to rule the world really ended in two groups of genetically damaged teenagers with unnatural powers that could easily hurt anybody who asked for it. 

And both groups are after each other.

And both groups are connected in ways making it mentally hard to hurt the other team.

When twins Skylar and Jake were born, their scientist parents used them as an experiment. Each was injected with a dose of serum that would supposedly make them much stronger, smarter, simply better than other kids. But somebody added a chemical that changed the effects of the serum. As a result each twin got only half of the traits they were originally supposed to get. Skylar got the strength and speed while Jake got the brains. When they realized what had happened, the twins' parents immediately put them up for adoption, so neither one knew of the other. 12 years later Skylar is constantly failing all her classes, and Jake is getting bullied because he is so much weaker than other kids. But then Skylar's adoptive family decides to move across the country to find a new school for their daughter, which happens to be the school Jake goes to. They meet completely by accident. In the meantime, their parents have found a way to fix their mistake from 12 years ago -- they can make one of the twins perfect. But it requires for the other twin to give their life.

My curse just gave them a reason. You see, the normal population with ordinary DNA, they don't know about the people like me. The roaches of the world. We don't get that kind of recognition at the camps. There, we are only one thing in the military's eyes. We are weapons and we will act like it. Everyone else out there, bathing in the goodness they don't know they've got, they don't know about the roaches their stepping on. As long as their getting closer to the sky, they don't care what they stand on to reach it. They don't know about the sparkling dreamer that's killed 7 people before her 17th birthday. They don't about the ghost of a girl peaking around corners for her entire life because even home wasn't safe. They don't know about the fighter of steel and iron sucking on his bloody lip courtesy of the wars he battles in as nothing but a shadow. They don't know about the masked villain who would do anything to see the army they lead claim the throne They don't know about us. But they will, because we will rise. This "other" category is really rare and dangerous. they posses all these powers and more. The government wants to build a magical army that is being trained to fight against something that could destroy everything in existence. With the struggles of a love triangle forming Brandon and Derek, will have to put aside their feelings and help Kayla hide her powers from the government and figure out why she's so special out of all the "others" before its too late.

The Society needs power to control their people. They needed a miracle, but miracles don't exist so instead they made a superhero, their perfect superhero who would help them have control over people. They made vials of liquid that would give people powers. They asked for people to volunteer, they needed people to be born with it so what's better than to give the vials to pregnant people. Only 5 children had the abilities, all very different abilities. What happens when the children's lives are ruined by The Society and they want revenge.

When a zombie apocalypse hits the world on its National Thanksgiving, in less than 24 hours, villages, cities, towns, entire countries are wiped out. Gone away into the dust, to never be seen. Nah, they all emerge as mindless angry creatures that would destroy anything in it's path to get a drop of your blood. Zombies. Not just the regular zombies you see in TV. Not the slowpokes, dumb, crazied flesh-eating monsters. No, these zombies can see, smell, run, climb, they can imitate and God help us they understand and not simply imitate. What happens when these zombies begin to gain intelligence? Every living thing evolves and if it doesn't; it's not worthy of being called 'living'. So when the remaining of humanity remains unmoving, stagnant but the zombies keep growing in mass, intelligence, strength; living. Living on the bare minimum, working your back, seeing loved ones day every single day, hearing screams of help from all around you but knowing how you couldn't do anything. This is a world where surviving wasn't... surviving. Living hurts. This is a world where even horror die-hard fans would rather not be in. For you to live, you have to be insane. And thankfully for one of our characters, they've gone insane.

Do you like reading? Good, cuz I don't. I read but it's not my forte. I do it because I have to. Every book follows a specific plot and it's boring. My story involves a series of events that involve my dreams and illusions. A teenager is suddenly stripped from his normal life and given powers along with some of his friends. Most know or think that we came from god. That he mad us half god and half animal. Some humans were able to inherit godly powers and have been chosen through their dreams.
