Catalina Torres is all alone in life, since her mother died, and she is forced to move in with her grandparents. Catalina doesn't know how to live in a small town as she's always lived in downtown Chicago, but she meets Eduardo and he manages to distract her from her pain. Catalina goes to school where she meets people like the ones she used to be friends with, it brings a sense of home and she will have to decide whether she chooses family or money.
