I never really paid attention when my mom told me dont stray to far towards the side walk or, pay heed to the company you keep. I should have though, then maybe I would still be alive. I would have been able to comfort her when my father died. Or help her with the bills she now struggles to pay or, lead an example for my sister who will be the death of my mother if she keeps on the path she now walks. In a way she is how she is beause I wasnt a good example for even a fly to follow.
