Williston, North Dakota was a Christian town. Too Christian. Joshua "Josh" Brown, a closeted gay, soon realizes that his status won't last, and the backlash is gonna suck. He yearns for his first gay love in his final year of high school. And that love comes from one of the most unexpected of places - a guy on his basketball team. His father is a pastor, and his family are a devoted Christian household. His parents struggle to find a middle ground between them and their son. Josh finds struggle after struggle and is pressured into conversion therapy. He learns that love isn't a choice, but is about how you love and how you care. He learns that he needs to be true to himself and everyone. His experience is painful and paradoxical.

Hey guys, just so you know this book does contain mature language, material about homophobia and religion. Some chapters may contain 18+ content and some rape depictions. The purpose of this story is to show how some communities treat gay people nowadays and we felt like this needed to be addressed. Please note that this isn't meant to offend Christianity or Protestants in any way, it is just the people in this town who act this way. We hope you enjoy this collaboration!
