I attended a writing group several years ago and one of our assignments was to write a 250 word story, poem, or song. We had to spend a maximum of one hour on it and we had to include the following prompts : Quicksand of your lies A memory on my lips Written in the clouds Unravelling Nobody told me Sewn on my sleeve I decided to write a poem/lyrics titled "Nobody Told Me".

'i will never stop blooming, like an eternal rose of flame... i may have my times of smolder and small sparks, but i will always become a huge inferno in the end... and nothing can stop me.' Collection of poetry and prose between the ages of 10-15. Almost completely in order, so don't be deterred from the first couple of weird poems. I was trying to find myself through writing during that time. WARNING: I don't edit any of them. These are completely raw. Highest Ranking: #365 in Poetry EDIT: completed! May make another themed poetry book soon. I added an easter egg in the very first poem, using the SoundCloud plug-in (p.s. I made the song ;)
